Tideline

Thirty days of one person · band 16–34

The line you are actually measured against.

Not a population’s normal range. The middle sixty per cent of your own last thirty days, redrawn every morning — so worse than usual finally means something.

01The evidence

Six symptoms, six bands, six different amounts of evidence

Nothing is folded into a single wellness score. Each symptom keeps its own range and its own day count, so you can see which ones you actually know something about — and which ones you only think you do.

Fatigue

n = 28

Band 16–34 · today 20

Recorded most days — the band is worth something.

Brain fog

n = 26

Band 12–30 · today 18

Two days behind fatigue, and the band is a little wider for it.

Sleep quality

n = 30

Band 44–68 · today 61

Read from the ring, so every night is there.

Joint pain

n = 19

Band 20–52 · today 24

Recorded only when it flares, so the line is drawn broken.

Headache

n = 9

Too few days for a band

Nine days is not a baseline. Tideline draws none rather than a bad one.

Nausea

n = 4

Too few days for a band

Four points, no line. Joining them would imply something that is not there.

This is the part most dashboards hide. A band drawn from nine days is not a baseline, and a line through four points is a drawing rather than a finding. Where the evidence is thin, Tideline shows it thin.

02The stack

Adherence you could show a clinician without explaining it

Four slots a day, filled as they were closed. The notched days are the ones you never answered for — and they are missing, not empty.

Slot closed Answered, not taken Never answered — excluded

89%

Adherence

Across the 27 days you answered for.

108

Slots closed

Of the 121 that were answered either way.

3

Days held out

Counted neither as taken nor as missed.

0

Assumed

Slots Tideline marked taken on your behalf.

The percentage has a denominator you can see. Most trackers would report 79% by counting the three open days as total misses, or 92% by counting them as taken. Tideline counts them as neither and says how many it left out.

03The refusals

What it will not do

  • It reads, it never writesApple Health is read‑only. Tideline never writes back, and never uses health data for advertising.
  • Oura, for what Health cannot carryReadiness and nightly temperature deviation never reach HealthKit. Connect the ring and they come straight from it — read‑only, revocable, with the token kept in the keychain.
  • Association is not proofFactors are patterns inside one person’s record. Tideline prints the effect, the days behind it, and a confidence bounded by the smaller of the two groups — then says so on the screen.
  • Your record stays yoursIt lives on your device. Nothing is shared until you scope it to a named person, and that grant ends by itself.

Tideline is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor disease, and nothing in it is medical advice. Decisions about medication, supplements or care belong with you and your clinician.

04Where it is

Testing quietly, for now

Tideline is being built with a small group of people who manage a condition day to day, and with the clinicians they share their records with. If that is you, write and say so — what you track, and what nothing has managed to answer yet.
